Personalised learning with new technologies: Islay High School
Discover how an island secondary school is promoting personalised learning through the introduction of ultra mobile PCs, which were obtained for all 250 students through Schools of Ambition funding . With the help of Schools of Ambition funding, Islay High school has provided each of its students with ultra mobile PCs in order to introduce and promote personalised learning within its curriculum. The Headteacher and Principal Teacher discuss why the use of new technology promotes and aids individual styles of learning, encourages more positive interactions between student and teacher; and empowers students.

The Ramsay Challenge – helping to meet pupils’ needs
